Our Story
We came into this business sort of by accident. We started our pet journey with a beautiful Siamese mix cat, Charlie. She was more friendly than most cats. Then we added two beautiful Golden Retrievers: Sam and Frodo. They were the best! They were calm but liked to play and were smart and cuddly. The only downside was the fur. Golden Retrievers shed lots of fur!! We also had a few rescue dogs…a dachshund mix (Tanner), an Australian cattle dog (Hank), and a Red Sable German Shepherd (Mae Mae).
Our brother and sister-in-law had been breeding for quite some time and they asked us if we would be interested in being guardian parents. We didn’t even know what that was! They explained, and we quickly decided to give it a try. We were given two of the cutest little Goldendoodle puppies and we named them, Merry and Pippin (we used to have two Golden Retrievers named Sam and Frodo, so we decided continue the trend with more Hobbit names). They had the sweetest personalities and won us over immediately! When they started breeding them, the puppies won our hearts as well! We were there for the births of them all and we missed our Mama’s like crazy when they were with their pups. When they retired Merry and Pippin, we started to think about breeding ourselves. There was a lot to learn, but we were excited about having the puppies in our own home:) We also felt like it was a good time in our lives to try something new. We are both teachers. Rob is a retired public school teacher of 33 years. He also taught Spanish for five yrs at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah. I thave been teaching piano for 35 years. We raised three beautiful humans as well, so we thought maybe we have something to offer! This has been an amazing challenge to start breeding puppies, but also VERY fulfilling and rewarding!
There is nothing better than loving on a litter of pups as they learn and grow and explore! We are just getting started and we aren’t a big operation, but that's how we like it. It gives us the opportunity to really get to know each puppy. They become a part of our family and with that comes a strong desire to place them in a loving and nurturing home. We want them to be a part of your family too!
Our Vision
We work hard to raise happy, healthy, socialized, and smart Goldendoodles who will be ready to become part of a loving family.
